On the back of our Cleansing Oil you'll find five technical names. Most people have no idea what they mean. We think that should change. So here's every single one of them, explained.
Important: the number of ingredients says nothing about how good, safe or gentle a product is. Every product listed here is a perfectly normal cosmetic you can buy in any shop. We show this comparison for one reason only: we like a short list, because it means we can explain the whole thing to you. As of 9 September 2026.

How we counted: the number of entries in the INCI list published by the manufacturer or retailer, accessed on 9 September 2026. Cleansing oils only, no cleansing milks, balms or foams. "Parfum" or "Aroma" counts as one entry; each separately listed fragrance ingredient counts as one entry. Ingredient lists can vary by product version, batch and country. Where we found differing lists, we used the lower figure. The list on the actual packaging is always the one that counts.

How to use
Apply to skin and massage in. Avoid contact with eyes. For external use only. Use within 6 months of opening (see the open-jar symbol on the packaging).Every ingredient has a job. Otherwise it wouldn't be in there.

- A pure oil. No water in it at all.

The formula

Our lip oils need just twelve to fourteen ingredients, our body oils five to seven. Most are of natural origin, many of them certified organic: plant oils as the base and, instead of perfume, food-grade flavourings of the kind a pâtissier would use. Vitamin E protects the oils as a natural stabiliser. That is why they keep for six months after opening, not three years.
What stays out matters just as much: no parabens, no plasticisers, no microplastics, no silicones, no mineral oils, no colourants, no harsh actives and no animal testing.
Vegan and never tested on animals.
No ingredients of animal origin and no animal testing, neither for our products nor for their ingredients. In the EU this applies to every cosmetic. For us, it is a matter of the heart.
Like a sheer veil.
Our oils are fluid and featherlight. They settle on the skin like a sheer veil, sink in quickly and leave neither a greasy film nor marks on your clothes. That is exactly how our customers describe them on Trustpilot. And they are non-comedogenic.

From what age are the products suitable?
For anyone who loves light, uncomplicated care: for teenagers just as much as for their mothers. For younger children, parents decide. As with any new product, we recommend trying it on a small patch of skin first.
Does the oil help with blemishes?
No, and we never claim it does. Our oils are care, not treatment. For skin concerns, a dermatologist is the right person to ask.
