What's in our mud: it is rich in a range of minerals such as silicon (around 34%, as silicon dioxide), the backbone of the mud, the same mineral found in quartz and sand. Calcium (around 17%), as in limestone and seashells. Magnesium (around 6%). Iron (around 4%), which gives the mud its colour. And potassium (around 2%). The values come from our lab's mineral analysis, measured as oxides, the way geologists analyse rock. It's the mineral profile you'd expect from a high-quality clay, just without anything else.
How to use
Mix with Aloe Vera Girl. Leave on for 10 to 15 minutes, then rinse. Avoid the eye area.What happens in the meantime: mixed into a mask, the mud sits on the skin and binds excess oil and dirt as it dries, which then rinse away with it. That's why people have been putting mud and clay on their skin for thousands of years. Use within 6 months of opening (see the open-jar symbol on the packaging). 80 g.
